Our client is a Swiss based Investment Manager specialising in Private Market Investments, looking for an experienced ESG professional to join the growing team. This is a permanent position with full autonomy over the ESG function and ideally looking for a start date ASAP.
Responsibilities:
– Responsible for ESG initiatives and ensuring compliance with requirements.
– Regular monitoring to ensure effectiveness of requirements e.g. ESG policies and procedures
– Oversight of the firms Sustainability report
– ESG assessment
– Carbon offsetting initiative in collaboration with the firm
– Review third party data companies
– Coordinate and help to implement regulatory and industry initiatives
– Update and review of policies e.g. ESG policy
– Coordinate and creation of materials for committee meetings
Requirements:
– Proven experience in ESG investment and regulation
– Strong understanding of sustainability within financial services
– Strong Analytical and IT-skills (SQL databases, Excel/VBA, Python)
– Strong Stakeholder management and Communication skills
– Fluency in English and German;
