For an investment company with headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, we are looking for a trader (f/m) to implement investment strategies and to take over responsibility for some institutional mandates.
Your responsibilities:
– Responsible for the company’s trading and fixed income securities and derivatives orders with a focus on domestic and international capital markets
– Manage and advise mandates of institutional investors
– Market monitoring and analysis in order to implement long-term trading strategies in special and public funds
– Support the fund management in portfolio adjustments and liquidity management, as well as in the investment compliance
– Further development of trading and pricing tools (Listed and OTC Derivatives)
– Increase the level of automation and reduce manual intervention and execution costs
– Generating ideas for further development and implementation of trading strategies
Your qualifications:
– Some experience in trading or portfolio management of securities and derivatives with focus on fixed income in an investment company, a bank or in a brokerage firm
– Successfully completed a degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering or equivalent
– Affinity for quantitative investment approaches
– High analytical comprehension
– Fluent German and English language skills
– Very good IT knowledge among others with Bloomberg and Reuters, database and programming skills are an advantage (Matlab, VBA, SQL, Eviews)
